Many of the resources listed below are available in multiple languages.

Canada

• The Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada privacy resources in English and in French.

Europe and Scandinavia

• The European Commission offers Data Protection resources to learn more about data protection in the EU. Available in over 20 languages.

• Norway offers the You Decide campaign – intended to increase young people’s knowledge of privacy and to raise their consciousness about the choices they make. Available in Urdu, Somali and Arabic.

• Portuguese Dadus Project – Open forum with guidelines and information offered by the Portuguese Data Protection Authority.

• The Information Commissioner’s Office in the United Kingdom offers special pages dedicated to young people – increasing awareness about protecting the privacy of personal information.  The ICO also offers general tips on protecting the privacy of personal information.

• Ireland’s Data Protection Youth Resources from the Data Protection Commissioner [Irish Data Protection Authority]

• The Swedish Data Protection Board offers In Focus: Youth and Privacy offered in 10 different languages.

Asia-Pacific

• It’s Your Privacy. Don’t Ignore It. Privacy Victoria, Office of the Victorian Privacy Commissioner.

• The Office of the Australian Information Commissioner offers the private i magazine and additional privacy resources.

• New Zealand’s Privacy Commissioner offers “Youth Privacy: Your Information – But Is It Really Yours?” 

• Privacy Information, a project of Consumer Action provides resources translated into Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese and other languages.
