Bhume worked on Security and Privacy technologies, implementation, research, and policy in Thailand and across ASEAN before joining Meta, where he works on Security Policy related issues in APAC.
He now leads the company team focusing on protecting users from security threat and harm, including programs to protect civic, high risks users, community and small businesses from compromise and harm.
Bhume received PhD in cybersecurity from University of California, Davis, in 2009, and is an Eisenhower Fellow since 2018. He taught at King Monkut’s University of Technology, Thonburi from 2009-2014, and advise Thai government, regulators and private sectors on Security, Privacy and emerging technologies policy and regulation from 2014-2019.
