Director of Digital Strategy
Kara Wright joined the National Cyber Security Alliance in 2014 as digital media coordinator and became director of digital strategy in 2015. She leads NCSA’s day-to-day operations of STOP. THINK. CONNECT., including partner recruitment, signing, engagement and outreach, strategic initiatives and national and international development and digital operations, strengthens partnerships with key stakeholders, manages the social media and online strategy for NCSA’s core programs, leads creation and acquisition of content for NCSA’s blogs and oversees NCSA’s social media activities and web and social media properties. Ms. Wright has experience in internal and external communications and marketing efforts such as website management, social media, design, publication production, copy writing and editing and media relations.
Ms. Wright holds a master’s degree in media and public affairs and a bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communication from the George Washington University.
