Abstract visualisation: the Ayeyarwady and Aya bridges across the Irrawaddy River in Myanmar 6
Mandalay, Myanmar – 27 January 2013 The Ava and Ayeyarwady Bridges in Myanmar cross the massive Irrawaddy River, to the southwest of Mandalay. This started as a straightforward image of the bridges, but then I got adventurous and turned it into something more colourful and abstract, using a combination of Photoshop techniques including image folding, rotation, multi-layer blending, transformations and gradient mapping.
