Jaclyn Parran is an Information Technology Leader with over 18 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry at Eli Lilly.
As a Business Information Security Officer, she is responsible for driving the information security strategy within one of the company’s global business units to ensure that security is integrated in the larger business interests.
Jaclyn’s vast set of experiences also include nearly 10 years as a leader in Information Security as the Senior Director of Global Security Operations, Associate Director of Information Security Global Digital Forensics and Incident Response, and Associate Director of Global Infrastructure Services for North American sites. She also has experiences as an Infrastructure Program Manager overseeing global mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, and as an Information Technology auditor, evaluating internal controls and risks within the global technology systems of Lilly and external parties which Lilly leverages to conduct business.
In addition to her formal roles, Jaclyn has served as a Lead Corporate Recruiter for collegiate campus recruiting for the last several years, where she is responsible for full-time placement and offering internship opportunities to minority colleagues majoring in an Information Technology or related discipline.
Jaclyn is a powerful force known for inspiring teams to achieve operational excellence. Passionate about helping others develop their talents, Jaclyn spends countless hours mentoring and coaching individuals. Jaclyn holds a BS in Computer Information Systems from Florida A&M University and an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University. She has several certifications which include GIAC Security Leadership, Six Sigma Black Belt, and Project Management Professional.
Jaclyn is an Associate member of the Information Technology Senior Management Forum, a member of the Florida A&M University Computer and Information Sciences Department Advisory Board, a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and a member of the Circle City Chapter of Jack & Jill of America, Inc., where she serves as the Technology Chair. When Jaclyn is not working, she enjoys daily spiritual devotionals, exercising, serving in her local community, and above all else, spending time with her husband, Michael, and their two children.
