NCSA Wins SC Magazine’s Editor’s Choice Award

February 15, 2017
| National Cyber Security Alliance Team

The National Cyber Security Alliance (NCSA) is thrilled to accept the 2017 SC Magazine Editor’s Choice Award. This award is part of the SC Awards, honoring the achievements of companies and information security professionals striving to safeguard businesses, customers and critical data in North America. NCSA accepted the award at a ceremony on Tuesday, Feb. 14, at the InterContinental San Francisco.

The Editor’s Choice Award – presented based on information culled from SC Magazine events, research for features and news articles and reader, analyst, vendor and editorial board feedback – pays homage to individuals and organizations making a positive impact on the information security industry as a whole.

“I am proud of the entire NCSA team and the work reflected in this award,” said NCSA Executive Director Michael Kaiser. “SC Magazine is a leading source of news and insight in the cybersecurity field, and NCSA is honored to be considered a leader in promoting a safer, more secure and more trusted internet.”

NCSA’s involvement in the SC Awards was part of a week-long series of activities in San Francisco at RSA® Conference (RSAC) 2017. NCSA is a proud partner of the conference and has participated in a variety of initiatives, including speaking with an ongoing stream of visitors at the RSAC Cyber Safety Village, where attendees can learn how to rethink the family “tech talk” and hear about NCSA’s core programs – National Cyber Security Awareness Month (October), Data Privacy Day (Jan. 28) and the STOP. THINK. CONNECT.™ campaign. For more information about NCSA, visit staysafeonline.org.
