WASHINGTON, D.C., Oct. 20, 2023 -

The National Cybersecurity Alliance (NCA), the nation's leading nonprofit empowering a more secure and interconnected world, today announced the launch of its highly anticipated comedy video web series, Kubikle. Designed to engage, educate, and entertain viewers while promoting a safer online environment, the innovative web series aims to advance cybersecurity awareness and preparedness by making it relatable for individuals, businesses, and organizations.

According to, NCA’s recently published report Oh Behave! The Annual Cybersecurity Attitudes and Behaviors Report 2023, over half of people in the US are apprehensive about becoming victims of cybercrime. However, cybersecurity is often seen as an overwhelming task, with 39% reporting feeling frustrated and 37% intimidated by the process of staying secure online. Through Kubikle, NCA is challenging this perception by demystifying cybersecurity and empowering viewers with the knowledge needed to protect themselves online. The 12-episode series condenses cybercrime down to the human level, spotlighting the “people'' behind attacks and using insightful storytelling and humor, to make cybersecurity less intimidating.

“Cybercrime often feels like this faceless, looming threat contributing to the daunting feeling consumers have when it comes to cybersecurity. Kubikle is our way of putting a face to the threat to make the topic more approachable and inspire consumers to take their online safety into their own hands,” said Lisa Plaggemier, Executive Director at National Cybersecurity Alliance. “By blending storytelling with foundational cybersecurity concepts, we’ve created a fun, engaging and accessible tool that furthers our mission to advance cybersecurity education and awareness for all.”

Kubikle pulls the curtain back on cybercrime, following a diverse cast of cybercriminals as they navigate a “typical day in the office.” Each episode explores a cybersecurity topic including Ransomware, Romance and Cryptocurrency Scams, Phishing, Vishing, Multi-factor Authentication and Passwords Security. This narrative approach draws viewers in, and underscores cybersecurity risks, concepts and best practices in an easy to digest and relatable format, empowering viewers with the knowledge needed to protect themselves and their digital lives effectively.

The full Kubikle series is available to stream now. To tune in or for more information about Kubikle, please visit https://kubikleseries.com/.
