WASHINGTON, D.C., April 12, 2019 – The National Cyber Security Alliance (NCSA) – a nonprofit, public-private partnership focused on helping individuals and businesses stay safer and more secure online – announced today the addition of three companies to its board, illustrating NCSA’s growth and strengthening its reach and impact. The addition of the companies brings the total market cap of NCSA’s board to nearly $4 trillion. The new members, Proofpoint, Uber and U.S. Bank, are deeply committed to supporting NCSA’s mission to educate and empower our global digital society to use the internet safely and securely. Together, they will work with NCSA to continue to create and implement far-reaching awareness and education efforts to empower everyone to learn about and practice good cybersecurity in the workplace and at home.

NCSA considers it a privilege to welcome Proofpoint, Uber and U.S. Bank to our board. These nationally renowned companies in cloud-based security, transportation networking and banking have initiated countless efforts to keep everyone safer and more secure online,” said Kelvin Coleman, NCSA’s executive director. “Their leadership roles in such diverse industries that impact both consumers and business clearly underscore the basic principle that practicing good cybersecurity and protecting privacy are integral to our daily lives.”

I’m very excited about joining the NCSA board to help advance these critical initiatives.”
